I Will Be With You theme at Lompoc Disciples assembly

497 delegates from 120 Disciples Churches in Southern California and Southern Nevada will meet at Chapman College in Orange June 26-28 to rewrite the region’s constitution and by-laws and to consider farm labor legislation. Five speakers will address delegates, with Dr. Enoch Henry as opening president and others including Dr. T J Liggett and Rev. James Hargett. A drama on a Christian nation and a forum will flank business sessions as delegates split into groups for discussion. The key action is a provisional constitution pending 1970 assembly and a federal farm labor resolution urging worker representation.

Watch Out For Falling Rocks sermon at First Christian Church
