The Drug Abuse Clinic sponsors a reflective listening hotline supervised by Jack Hanstein. Two volunteers and one adult staff each night man three lines, handling 22 adults and 15 youths overall. From Apr 24 to May 21 the tally shows 153 calls, 10 critical, 45 referrals, including mental health, drug, venereal disease, legal, and pregnancy concerns, with several cases of potential self harm.
