Inter-agency review urged for Refugio Bridge design
A plan to build a 428 foot two pier bridge over Refugio Canyon near Refugio State Beach is sent to state agency secretaries after Sen. Lagomarsino and officials pressed to evaluate environmental and aesthetic factors. A 326 foot single column design had been favored, but discussion reopened with aim to delay bidding until cabinet level review.

Robbers steal bread bag in Hicksville night robbery
