County SeIU Mediation Hopes For Pay Rise Accord
The AFL CIO Service Employees-International Union seeks up to 17 percent raises for more than 1,000 county workers including clerks welfare and probation staff. Mediation with the county is set from a State Conciliation Service mediator with sessions expected late this week as talks follow a fruitless bargaining session. The county offered eight percent with union members totaling about 1,020 at stake.
