Buena Vista school notes honor students with treats and events
Buena Vista students enjoyed free ice cream on the last day of school chaired by Mrs. Ernest Beckerdite and committee members. The year featured volunteer clerical aides, a radio day, a catered sixth grade luncheon, and thanks to library and hot dog volunteers. La Mesa and Village Hills clubs sponsored fundraisers and activities including graduations, bike safety rodeos, and a Make Your Own Sundae gathering.
