Flag from Capitol Hill gifted to Spanne home museum

A five by eight foot fifty star flag once flown over the Capitol in Washington is now part of the Fabing McKay Spanne home holdings, presented by Mrs. Clair Rudolph at the Santa Barbara DAR dinner. Gifts include a branding iron, picture of West House, and 1920s era items to furnish the museum. The society plans a 43rd Pioneer Reunion and an August auction to raise donations.

Completion of the 1969 Flower Festival discussed at Lompoc luncheon
