Robert Taylor the 1940s and 50s screen star is near death from terminal cancer at St John’s Hospital in Santa Monica California. A hospital spokesman said his condition was rapidly deteriorating and death is imminent likely within days or a week. It was noted he had lung cancer and previously had part of a lung removed with his wife Arsela Thiess at his side.
