Thrifty Drug and Discount Stores announce a month long birthday celebration as the chain marks 41 years. Since their last birthday they opened more than 20 new stores in the West and plan 30 more as they accelerate expansion in the coming year. Navy Airman Robert F Kozumplik, son of Mr and Mrs George A Kozumplik, is serving with Attack Squadron 4L at Naval Air Station Oceana in Virginia Beach, Virginia.
