FB111 Bomber Returns to Operational Status

Four hurt in three Lompoc Valley auto crashes
Over the weekend four people including two servicemen and a five year old girl were injured in three separate crashes around Lompoc. Ranne Lanette Laine 5 suffered possible head injuries after stepping from behind a parked car into a south A Street vehicle driven by Ruth Lillian 46 of 120 Somerset Place Lompoc. Sgt Herschel Eddins Jr 21 and Roger Leverett 21 were in satisfactory condition at Vandenberg AFB with back and leg injuries from a Highway 1 crash south of Lompoc where their car overturned after loss of control. Wayne Stitch 18 of 101 Somerset Court Lompoc had contusions after overturning his car on Cebada Canyon Road. Edward Calloway 59 of Jasmine Street Lompoc and Leonard Watts 17 of Los Angeles escaped injury in a two car collision at Ocean and A Street.

Black power leader killed in Houston gunfight
