Rookie Bruce Kison pitched a two hitter over San Diego as the Pittsburgh Pirates defeated the Padres 4-0. The 21 year old, called up from Charleston, held a perfect stretch through 5 2 3 innings before Angel Bravo’s pinch hit. Enzo Hernandez led off the ninth with the Padres’ only other hit. Stargell contributed for the Pirates.
