Women of Moose welcome new Lompoc Chapter members

Members of the Lompoc Chapter Women of the Moose were welcomed Monday night. Mrs Ira Zeeman and Mrs John Yarnell enrolled as new members. Mrs Kenneth Sorenson presided with committee members listed. A new chapter tradition welcomed Mrs John Yarnell as the 14th member. A lodge supper fundraiser was announced for Saturday at 7 p.m. donations are $2.50 benefiting House of God at Moosehart and the College of Regents scholarship fund. Wardrobe project for a Riverside School for the Deaf pupil continues.

LaRue Gunville nuptials mark July ceremony in Lompoc

Sgt. William C Gunville and Diane M LaRue wed July 12 at La Purisima Catholic Church officiated by Father John Fitzgerald. The bride, daughter of Mr and Mrs John LaRue, and the groom, son of Mr and Mrs Raymond Gunville of Menominee, Mich., honeymooned in Morro Bay and Los Angeles. The bride, a June Lompoc High School graduate and Gusto's employee, and the groom, a Menominee High School graduate, are stationed near Vandenberg AFB with the 395th Missile Squadron. They now reside at Apartment A 129 N B St.

Canyon Campers Day Camp open for girls in Lompoc

Registration remains open for Canyon Campers Day Camp sponsored by the Lompoc Council of Camp Fire Girls. Session two runs today through Friday at Santa Rosa Park for girls aged seven and up with fees four dollars for members five dollars for non members.
