Nixon to Leave Moon Insignia For Apollo 11 Crew

Fires scorch hills and city as 85 acre blaze rages
Five valley fires yesterday damaged property and injured one person. A Lompoc woman suffered second degree burns when gas ignited a kitchen stove. The 85 acre Mission Hills brush fire was discovered at 1 41 pm and contained by 5 43 pm with no injuries or structures damaged. Fire units from Vandenberg Village Buellton and Santa Ynez aided. Additional small fires burned a rear yard and car components with limited damage and no injuries.
