Potentate of Al Malaikah Welcomed at Shrine Reception
Ed Safady potentate of Al Malaikah Shrine Temple was welcomed by two hundred Central Coast Shriners and ladies at Elks Hall. Neal Westrope and directors organized the dinner dance with clubs from Santa Maria Santa Barbara San Luis Obispo and Paso Robles present. The Los Angeles temple entourage was joined by divan members and their ladies. The Shrine band performed as South Siders and a barbershop quartet entertained. An October talent show at the Los Angeles Temple was announced. Over a hundred visitors attended Sunday breakfast at the Westrope home on South C Street with gladioli and paper camel decorations.

Christine Jensen of Santa Ynez Temple district deputy grand chief made her official visit to Mission Temple 69 Pythian Sisters this week. Berta Fisher served as most excellent chief for the evening with a special initiation of Bessie Williams of Buellton as a candidate. Forty sisters from Santa Maria Santa Ynez Valley View and Santa Barbara temples attended after a potluck dinner.

Esther Perry Weds Roger Jackson At First Presbyterian
