Board adopts $87.4 million budget tax rate uncertain
The Board of Supervisors approved a county general government budget of 87,411,000 for 1976-77, but officials cannot yet forecast the tax levy reduction. Auditor-Controller William Parsons said revenue estimates from federal and state contributions and higher service charges must be refined before a tax cut estimate is firm.
