Olivares Wins WBA Featherweight Title in KO Triumph

Ruben Olivares of Mexico City defeats Japan's Zensuke Utagawa at the Forum to capture the vacated WBA featherweight crown. Village Country Club Nassau tourney yields multiple flight winners

In the Nassau at The Village Country Club, winners were named for best front nine, back nine, and 18 holes across three flights. First flight honors went to Jean Martin, Mary Tripp, and Ginny Sphar with second place to Wanda Anderson Edna Stanley and a 18 hole tie.
