Democrats unveil alternative tax relief plan in California
Senate and Assembly Democrats propose a rival property tax relief to Reagan's 1 billion plan. They claim enough votes to block the governor's package, plan to amend their proposal into the governor's bill, and seek no sales tax or higher income brackets. The tactic aims to secure more school funding later.
