Lompoc Little League selects two all star squads

The 1969 Lompoc Little League named two all star teams at Johns Manville Park with National and American squads set to open District 50 playoffs. Grange Sprouts led with four players on the American team while other clubs also placed multiple players on the rosters. Adolph Pruitt of Los Angeles, ranked top junior welterweight, agreed to face Rene Barrientos in a 10 round bout on July 14 in Honolulu.
