Council backs LEA opposition to cutting education specialists
Lompoc Education Association leaders endorsed an executive board resolution opposing the loss of education specialists by attrition. The district may not hire replacements for one psychologist one nurse and one speech therapist when vacancies occur. The Feb 13 board meeting will consider Wegner's staffing plan amid declining enrollment of about 2000 students.

Two More Americans Killed in Vietnam War

Agnew to Leave Sunday for Southeast Asia Trip
