Obituaries Rosary for Innocente Barindelli and Anne Murray
Rosary was recited Sunday evening at Starbuck Mortuary Chapel for Innocente Barindelli 73 with a funeral Mass at La Purisima Catholic Church. Interment followed at Lompoc Evergreen Cemetery. Barindelli born in Italy in 1901 died Thursday in Simi Valley hospital survived by three nephews and two brothers. Private funeral services were held for Anne Murray 80 in San Luis Obispo. Born in Germany in 1894 she died Friday at Cabrillo Convalescent Home in San Luis Obispo survived by a son, a daughter and a sister.

LAFCO nears appointment to replace resigning chairman
The Local Agency Formation Commission will name a public member at its January 23 meeting in Santa Barbara to replace Lockwood Tower of Montecito who has resigned. Lompoc Mayor Eugene Stevens has nominated a candidate. Staff will not release nominee names until all are in and Tower will receive an engraved gavel at the 2 p.m. meeting in the County Administration Building.
