Year’s first tornado outbreak subsides with lingering storms

Jury Holds Guilt Still in Doubt in Corona Mass Murder Trial

One juror admitted she voted to convict Juan V. Corona despite lingering doubts about his guilt triggering a request for a new trial. Corona, a 38 year old Mexican national, was found guilty on 25 counts for the Feather River killings in 1971 after 46 hours of deliberation.
