Ocean fishing off Port San Luis produced hefty ling cod and a monster 22 pounder at the San Luis landing. The Islander boat fished Point Sal with bags up to 20 pounds. Surf and pier fishing remained solid with barred perch and occasional sea bass.

Haven and John Brown lead scoring for their teams amid seven turnovers by Missouri. Nebraska upsets Oklahoma 74-67 while Michigan State edges Iowa 76-74. Ohio State beats Georgia Tech 85-79 and Harvard routs Northeastern 105-63 in Beanpot play.
