Sons of Italy honor retiring Ken Main at G M Lodge

Ken nth Main is honored at the Lompoc Guglielmo Marconi Lodge installation as venerable emeritus. Past venerable pins were given, telegrams read from national officers, cake cut by Main and Lester Bondietti, and a roast beef dinner with members and guests. Angie Pasquini named lodge queen candidate for the July 1969 San Diego convention.

International orchid show dates set for Santa Barbara

The 24th annual International Orchid Show will run March 14 15 16 at Earl Warren Showgrounds. President Gary Gallup says the theme Serendipity highlights rare cymbidium varieties and orchids growing in unusual places. Orval Bond returns as show manager for a third year with a colorful fashion show among the highlights.
