Lompoc Youth Attend Annual Asilomar Confab

Four Lompoc area youths joined Cabrillo and Lompoc High students at the tenth annual High School Youth Conference at Asilomar December 27 to 29. More than 500 students from the US Canada and Mexico attended. The theme You Me Us guided group discussions skits and tours of Monterey landmarks. Patricia Thomas summed up the experience saying she learned more about people from the conference.

Poster contest invites high school artists for Engineers Week theme

Local chapter of the Professional Engineers' Wives Auxiliary sponsors a high school poster contest tied to Engineers Week.
