Dunes park meeting eyed by county and local leaders
The County Park Commission and Park Director George H. Adams will face Santa Maria and Guadalupe businessmen and citizens Thursday in Lompoc to discuss abandoning an overnight camp area, expanding parking, and possibly renaming Rancho Guadalupe Dunes County Park. Critics cite road work funded with oil drilling partners and insufficient parking while Adams notes sealing repairs and plans for a 3 acre parking strip on the 254 acre park.
