County salary talks continue amid bargaining session
County employee groups and the Personnel Department held another long bargaining session at the County Employees Assn. headquarters in Santa Barbara to settle revised salary formulas. William Gill was named county employes relations officer, effective January 22, to handle negotiations alongside Personnel Director William Wagstaff at the request of County Administrative Officer Raymond D. Fred T Line 51 Dies. Graveside Services Planned
Fred Thomas Line, 51, of Lompoc, died Sunday at Lompoc District Hospital. Graveside services are set for tomorrow at 10 a.m. at Lompoc Evergreen Cemetery with Rev. David Miller officiating. Born June 28, 1921 in Texas, Line was a World War II Navy veteran and electronics technician at General Dynamics at Vandenberg AFB. He is survived by widow Mary, daughter Sue Napper, son Thomas Line, sister Dorothy Johnson, and granddaughter Christine Napper. Friends may call at McPeek Family Mortuary Chapel until 8 p.m. tonight.
