White House to seek more time on Watergate subpoenas
The White House asked the Senate Watergate Committee for an extension past the 10 a.m. EST deadline to respond to subpoenas for documents and tapes. Winter storm lashes Lompoc causing widespread damage
A Southern California winter storm toppled nearly 40 trees in Lompoc and dumped 1.37 inches of rain. Parks crews cleared toppled trees in Crestview Terrace and the 500 block of South C Street while Street Department workers pumped flooding from intersections and drains through the night and into morning.
