University pool skinny dipping draws 147 nude students
At the University of Chicago a mass skinny dip in the campus pool drew 147 students, male and female, for a playful event titled Happy Birthday Frank. The incident had no rules violations and was approved by a university official, with participants reportedly wearing no clothes.

Theft report says a gold diamond ring worth 500 was stolen from Roger Darcy at 520 S R St with the loss occurring before Thursday night. Burglars stole 450 in tools from Ray's auto dismantling at 333 N Second St and 80 more from Perry's auto dismantling at 1030 W Laurel Ave. Paul Ray Clinton 6 suffered a superficial dog bite on the cheek at 225 N M St near the dog and owner Bob Butler. The dog has anti rabies shots and will be quarantined for the mandatory period. Girls Club hours effective March 2 are Monday and Wednesday 3 to 5 p m and Saturday 10 a m to 4 p m.

Obituaries for William Neustrom and Carl Styles in Lompoc notes
Funeral services for William Henry Neustrom, 81, will be held Tuesday at Nelson Funeral Home in Marcus Iowa. He died in Lompoc yesterday and is survived by five sons and two daughters. The second obituary is for Carl M Styles, 45, who died in Dallas Texas after a long illness. He formerly worked with NASA at Vandenberg Air Force Base and helped with the Scout program at South Vandenberg. He is survived by his widow Kathy Styles and three daughters, plus a brother. Local arrangements are by McPeek Family Mortuary.
