Mushroom recall expands to 50 thousand more cans
The FDA announced an expanded recall by United Canning Corp. of East Palestine Ohio to include all large No 10 mushroom cans produced since Sept 4. No botulism cases have been reported. The original Feb 17 recall covered 29 cities and 42 firms. the extension adds 14 more cities and 24 firms. Botulism is a fatal toxin from improperly processed canned foods.
