Fish knife linked to Vietnam hero murder on East Beach

Police say a bone handled fish knife with a four inch blade is the suspected murder weapon in the stabbing deaths of John Hood and Sandra Garcia found on East Beach near their car. Hood, 24, a Vietnam veteran, received Bronze Star Silver Star Purple Heart and Presidential Citation. Garcia, 20, worked for the DMV. Investigators questioned friends and relatives to piece weekend movements.
