San Onofre reactors approved by Coastal Commission
The California Coastal Commission approved construction of two 1 140 megawatt nuclear reactors at San Onofre by Southern California Edison and San Diego Gas and Electric Co. The project, valued at about 1.4 billion dollars, aims to boost output sixfold by decade's end.
