Valley wrestlers earn spot in CIF Southern Section finals

Seven Valley grapplers qualified from West Torrance for the CIF SS championships at Marina High Long Beach. Lompoc’s Benje Williams won the 123 class with four wins, Cabrillo’s Mark Hall and Kevin King also earned top finishes, and several others earned invites to the state meet at Hayward. The SS finals start Saturday at 10 a.m. with top five in each class advancing to March 1 and 2 at CSU Hayward.
