Inaugural Medal Debut by Nixon Committee
The 1969 Inaugural Committee appoints Presidential Art Medals Inc as official distributors for Richard Nixon inaugural medals. Ralph J. Menconi prepared the models, drawing on Nixon's Great Seal crewelwork pattern for the reverse. Two medals go on sale this week: a 2.5 inch bronze for $6 with easel and a 2.5 inch solid silver limited edition at $45 with easel, available through Presidential Art Medals, Inc. in Englewood, Ohio.
