Guadalupe Maxi Terrones 56 died after a tree limb struck him while trimming a tree at the Mexican Social Organization in Lompoc. Rosary is 8 p.m. Tuesday at La Purisima Church. Requiem Mass Wednesday 9 a.m. Father Andrew McGrath to officiate. Burial in Lompoc Evergreen Cemetery. Terrones, born 1917 in El Paso, moved to Lompoc as a child and worked 26 years for Johns Manville. He is survived by his widow Lupe, a daughter Rachael Justice, a son Guadalupe Terrones, siblings, and 10 grandchildren. Friends may call 6–8 p.m. today at McPeek Family Mortuary.

Air Force sergeant faces burglary charges in Santa Maria
Air Force MSgt. Ernest H. Niehoff, 35, of Vandenberg AFB, was arraigned in Santa Maria Municipal Court on burglary and receiving stolen property counts.
