Traversa Couple Celebrates 50th Wedding Anniversary
Mr and Mrs Charles Traversa marked their golden wedding anniversary at a home reception in Vandenberg Village attended by about 100 guests including family from Pennsylvania Colorado San Diego Pomona and LA Father James Burnham gave a blessing. The couple married February 1 1927 in Italy and have 11 grandchildren and 5 great grandchildren.

The Lompoc Alpha Club gala at Village Country Club featured a five-stage skit on love life led by Louisa Van Ausdal and narrated by Gene Holmdahl with songs by Mary Matthews. About 118 attendees enjoyed a Valentine themed dinner and décor while community groups discussed crisis homes and foster care plans for adolescents.
