Retired Teachers and guests plan Wednesday meeting in Lompoc

The Lompoc Division of the California Retired Teachers Association and Santa Maria Division members will attend a luncheon meeting at the Golden Greek Restaurant at 12 30. Mrs. Robert Higgins will speak on CRTA organization and membership participation. The Lompoe High School a cappella choir will perform.

Hunkele and Quintard Tie The Knot At Vandenberg AFB

Barbara Hunkele and Calvin Quintard wed Friday at Vandenberg AFB Chapel in a Presbyterian ceremony attended by 75 guests. The couple, both Air Force members, live in Vandenberg housing and plan to relocate to Iowa after Sgt Quintard completes his discharge.

Eagles Auxiliary State Card Party Planned in Alpha Clubhouse

The Eagles Auxiliary 1700 will sponsor a card party and games on February 15 at the Alpha Clubhouse with the public welcome. Dorothy Wilding of Nevada, grand madame president, is expected to visit the San Diego Auxiliary on February 10. The mid winter conference is set for February 27 28 in Chula Vista. A bakeless bake sale will aid the Heart Fund and a crib blanket donation was given to Morris Home for Retarded Children. Refreshments were served by Mrs Ray Youngblood who also won the party prize. The Past Madame Presidents Club will meet February 18 at Mrs Edna Wurl home 304 E Oak Ave with co host Mrs Gus Bromser.

Women of St Marys host luncheon speaker Tuesday

Mrs. Waldemar Petzoldt director of the Lompoc Literacy Center will speak at the Episcopal Church Women of St. Marys meeting at 12 30 Tuesday. The public is invited and a baby sitter will be provided with refreshments served by Mrs. Peter Buley and assistants.
