City Considers Civic Center Build Lease Proposal
Monarch Land and Development of Los Angeles offered to build a 30 acre civic center on North H Street near Central Avenue for city and county offices in Lompoc. The plan proposes a 31 year lease at about six thousand nine hundred twenty four dollars annual on improvements and land with options to build or supervise, and possible acquisition at 25 000 per acre for ten acres or 30 000 if less land is chosen. City Administrator Gene Wahlers will present the proposal to the City Council on Tuesday.
