Guerrillas Free Hostages After Safe Conduct Pact
Four Palestinian guerrillas who seized the Israeli embassy in Bangkok agreed to release six Israelis and depart Thailand in exchange for safe conduct. Air Chief Marshal Dawee Chulasapya said the group would leave with him Deputy Foreign Minister Chartchai Chunahawan and the Egyptian ambassador, with two bottles of liquor as officers arranged a flight, likely to Cairo. The Black September group claimed responsibility for the Munich and Lod airport attacks and held out for the release of three prisoners before the accord.

Private services for Schuknecht in Lompoc
Private services will be held tomorrow at Lompoc Evergreen Cemetery for George Gerald Gerry Schuknecht 61 civil leader and Johns Manville division production engineer who died suddenly at his home on South L Street. He was born October 22 1911 in Waterloo Iowa educated at the University of Wisconsin and long associated with J M Corp. He traveled worldwide and served on local boards and clubs. He is survived by wife Dorothy a son Van and a daughter Kathy and his mother Edith. Contributions may be made to Lompoc District Hospital.
