Youth Basketball Skills Contest Set at Lompoc High Gym

A youth basketball skills contest for ages 8 to 14 will take place Saturday at the Lompoc Junior High gym starting 9 30 a m. Dribbling shooting and passing will be tested with trophies for top three in each age group. Lompoc YMCA Winter Run Set for January Fourth

The Lompoc YMCA sponsors a Winter Run at Ryan Park on January 4 open to all. Races include age group divisions from 9 and under to 18, with distances from 1.5 to 3.5 miles and open divisions for women and men, plus a Jogger's Fun Run. Registration is $1 before race day or $1.25 on race day with signups at local sporting goods stores and the YMCA.
