Christmas Cheer drives gifts and funds for needy families
Local groups and individuals have raised 225 dollars plus thousands of gifts for the annual Christmas Cheer program run through the Thrift Shop at 512 N. H St. Vi Norman leads the effort with volunteers including Lucille Geer. The Lompoc Health and Welfare Coordinating Council plans to spend 1000 dollars from shop proceeds on food vouchers to be honored by Williams Bros. Supermarket for families not on Food Stamps.
