Lompoc City Council unanimously approves 309000 in 1977 78 block grant funds to rebuild the fire station while seeking Public Works Grant Act money as a possible substitute. If approved most 368000 in 78 block grants would fund senior citizens facility storm drain and other needs.

Gilmore gets new death date

Council Votes to Pay Part of PG E Bill

The City Council approved paying the undisputed portions of October and November PG E bulk power bills. Lompoc will cover 107 118 of 139 442 for October and 129 886 of 167 501 for November, withholding the differential in an interest account. The move follows attorney recommendations from the Northern California Power Agency amid disputes over PG E bulk power rates.

Lompoc Trustees Approve Auto Shop at High School
