A Santa Ynez Planning Commission hearing devolved into bitter clashes as a Santa Ynez delegation led by former commissioners failed to secure approval to rezone from C-2 to C-3 for a Sagunto Street corner. The 4-4 vote denied the rezoning and continued the public hearing to January 15, amid accusations of “unclean hands” and harsh criticisms of Planning Director Britt Johnson and staff.
