Eastern Star installs Miguelito Chapter 176 officers

The 73rd installation of Miguelito Chapter 176 Order of Eastern Star took place in IOOF Hall with theme Faith is the Key to a Brighter Tomorrow. New officers include Patricia Elder as worthy matron Cal Coats as worthy patron and others serving as associate matron associate patron secretary treasurer conductress associate conductress chaplain marshal organist warder and sentinel.

Trailer Club elects officers at holiday party in Lompoc

Lompoc Travel Trailer Club held its election of officers on December 8 at Tradewinds Restaurant after a Christmas dinner. Fred Smith was named president, Chick Chilson vice president, and Charlotte Moss secretary treasurer for 1974. A golden anniversary cake was presented to Bernice and Ole Lunden and to Velma and Bob Chilson for upcoming anniversaries. Attending members included Homer and Lee Brady, Ole and Bernice Lunden, and many others from nearby communities. Previous members Archie and Gladys Bishop joined for dinner and entertainment.
