Murder suspect arraigned in Lompoc Justice Court
Daniel Glen McKay 29 was arraigned in Lompoc Justice Court on two counts of murder and two counts of robbery for the slayings of a Lompoc waitress and a vending machine serviceman. Bodies found in car trunks. McKay arrested after a highway pursuit south of Lompoc. Sheriff officials led McKay with guards as investigations continued and funeral services were planned for Dill and Greco.

North Vietnamese shell Phnom Penh and airport hit
North Vietnamese forces bombarded Phnom Penh and Pochentong International Airport injuring four civilians and four soldiers. The city rocket attack damaged a house and caused two civilian deaths while the airport strikes left two soldiers dead and two wounded in the first shelling of the capital in 20 months.
