SMID Directors Reject Growth Rate Questionnaire Request
Solvang Municipal Improvement District directors told Supervisor David Yager they lack staff information and time for the growth rate questionnaire. They suggested Yager pose direct questions or contact the Santa Ynez Valley Advisory Committee. The SMID board reviewed plans for 48 unit Alamo Pintado Village and 79 unit Rancho Santa Ynez Mobile Estates Phase II, and held over a county plan to close Old Mission Drive access. They urged a first class rest room for Solvang Park and discussed avoiding an 18 month 45000 study for a master plan. New officers at Los Olivos Improvement Association were elected: Dee Adamek president, Jim Weaver VP, Marilyn Coyle treasurer, Anna Mahler secretary. Holdover directors Bob Whitmore and John Brigham remain, with Bob Leite as a new member.
