Husky Oil wins facility approval in Santa Maria
Husky Oil Company based in Santa Maria wins approval to build a five million dollar treatment facility to curb sour gas odors without a rezoning. The Board of Supervisors voted 4-1 to grant the appeal, saying the unit is related to production and not subject to lengthy zoning procedures. Groundbreaking could start next March.
