County moves to align zoning with General Plan in new bill
Sacramento approves legislation to conform county zoning to the General Plan. Planning Director Britt A. Johnson says the department will restart a county wide General Plan and zoning study. The panel notes the bill will limit zoning choices but will not turn the General Plan into zoning. A separate NASA Ariel 4 satellite launch is planned for December 8 from the Western Test Range.
