Price Commission approves auto price increases steels, coal next

The Price Commission ended a long review of automaker price hikes by granting General Motors a 2.5 percent average rise for 1972 models and allowing Ford 2.9 percent Chrysler 4.5 percent and American Motors 2.5 percent. Nation's Weather From Cold Front Brings Snow and Ice

The first of December brought cold, dismal conditions with snow squalls in the Great Lakes and a mix of snow and freezing rain across the Great Plains. Snow amounts reached two inches in South Bend and one inch in Burlington within six hours, while Texas faced icy rain and a Pacific front. Temperatures ranged from 3 below zero in Hibbing to 75 in Key West, with Florida and southern Texas enjoying milder conditions.

Governor Bets Idaho On Camellia Bowl Wager
