Scouts Earn Honor Awards At Pack Meetings
Boy Scout Pack 54 continued a service project by providing Thanksgiving baskets for two needy families. Explorer Post 392 presented a flag ceremony as new bobcats joined Den I led by Mrs. William Heining. Den 6 performed Joaquin Murrieta and Bunyan skits. Webelos welcomed six new boys led by Dale Patton. Davenport and two others earned arrow of light awards and multiple pins. Cub Pack 103 held a Folklore themed meeting with several bobcat badges and the Arrow of Light ceremony for William Geis.

Results from the Lompoc Vandenberg area duplicate bridge events show on Thursday November 20 North South winners Mary Louise Wallace and Jo Gowenlock first with Teresa Turnbull and Patti Ausbrooks second and Jeanne May and Muriel Hennessy third. East West John and Marian Vesser topped Elmo and Donna Swinnen second and Mary Ann Goodnow and Barbara Holt third. On Saturday November 22 Teresa Turnbull and Mary Louise Wallace won first with Jim Longtin and Mary Ann Goodnow second and Jo Gowenlock with Eileen Nelson tied with Bill Goodrich and Myra Larsen for third and fourth. Regular play occurs Thursdays and second and fourth Saturdays at 7 30 p m in the Alpha Clubhouse plus Mondays at 1 p m and the first and third Sundays at 7 p m.
