Cobb Son Defends Fathers Career Against Ruth Records
James Cobb recalls his father Ty Cobb’s baseball feats at a La Quinta event, arguing Cobb’s lifetime totals exceed Babe Ruth in categories like hits and doubles though Ruth leads in home runs and RBIs. The ex peditor, 5 foot 7, notes his father’s pride in his own achievements and reflects on athletic lineage.
