Clarence Otis Smith was indicted by the Nevada County Grand Jury on assault with intent to commit murder after a July 12 incident at Dog Bar campground in the Sierra foothills. Kenneth Garbe, 20, and another person were injured. two others died. Smith is jailed in Brownsville Texas on 87500 bail. The grand jury transcript is sealed and a gag order issued.
